SCHOOL REGULATIONS

  • The school time - table is from 8 am to 2.30. The students must reach the school at least 15 minutes before the bell is rung for morning  assembly at 8. 00 a. m.

  • At the first  stroke of the bell all must immediately line up class or house wise for the assembly.

  • After the morning Assembly , the student must go their respective class room in proper discipline.

  • Character formation is the aim of  education. Good manner and pleasant behaviour are expected from all the students of all the classes.

  • As regular attendance is an important element for success, a written application for leave must invariably be submitted beforehand .

  • In case of sickness or other foreseen  circumstances. the students on joining school diary signed by parents .

  • Every student must be present on the day of the school reopens , after summer , Christmas , Puja Vacation and  the week before the vacation and  examinations.

  • A medical certificate must be produced for absence due to any contagious illness.

  • For planned programs prior written permission from the principal is a must.

  • ​The students specially the girls are not encouraged to wear / bring ornaments to the school and are forebidden to use make -up like lipstick, expensive ornaments, mehendi, nail polish etc. during the school time.

ADMISSION PROCESS

St Joseph’s Convent School Konmenjra is open and welcome to all irrespective of caste , creed , religion or places. School admits whom it considers would benefit by responding to the value - based education offered by the school .All applications for admission must be made on the prescribed form only .A Xerox copy of the date of birth certificate, caste certificate, transfer certificate must be enclosed along with the original admission form .Admission will be taken for all classes ( Nursery to VIII) . No students will be admitted unless he /she  produces necessary certificates. Parents of all applicants must sign on the original admission form.

WITHDRAWAL : The school reserves the right to ask the parents to withdraw their child if his /her progress in studies is unsatisfactory or attendance irregular or conduct harmful to other students or fees not paid in advance or if there are other reasons, which in the opinion of the school authorities , render continuance in the school undesirable. Honesty, Cleaniness, Good manners may be asked to leave.

GUIDELINES FOR PARENTS

DIARY :

  • Use the school diary as a mean of communication with the class teachers and check the diary daily for homework and the teacher’s remark .

  • Make sure that your child has all the text books , items of stationary , craft materials etc. Right in the beginning of the session.

  • Send the children regularly and punctually to school.

  • At least one parent must attend the parent - teachers meeting .

  • Do not send the child to school in case of any serious and infectious diseases.

  • Do not walk into the classroom or meet the teachers in the classroom without the permission of the principal.

GROOMING:

​

  • Students should be encouraged to take pride in their grooming and personal appearance .

  • Hair should be neat, clean ,well brushed and well combed. Extremes of hair cut or styling/ colouring are not appropriate and should not be worn by either boys or girls. St. Joseph’s Convent School Konmenjra are expected to :

  • Respect all the teachers.

  • Avoid throwing paper, stones, etc. anywhere in or around the school premises, except in bins, provided for the purpose .

  • Observe all rules of good conduct.

  • Avoid plucking flowers, destroying plants.

  • Avoid spitting in inappropriate places.

SCHOOL FEE

1. Parents should deposit the school fees before the 15th day of the respective months.

 

2. Fees once paid will not be refunded.

STUDIES

The School follows the syllabus prescribed by the Central board of Secondary Education , Delhi .For promotion to higher class a student must pass in all the subjects and have a minimum attendance of 80% . Our mission is fulfilled with the co - operation of the students , parents and guardians.NB: St Joseph’s Convent School Konmenjra is expected to grow year by year upto + 2

SCHOOL MANAGEMENT

St. Joseph’s Convent School Konmenjra, is a Catholic Christian Minority School established in 2017 by Sisters of St. Joseph’s of Tarbes . It is managed by St. Joseph of Tarbes Gumla, a society registered under the Societies Registration Act XXC of 1860 and a charitable Trust registered under section 12 A of the Income Tax Act 1961 , Reg . No. C - II - II / JBP/ Tech / 12AA/ 51/57 /04 -05. The School Managing Committee consists of members representing the parents /guardian, teachers and management.
